Why is your sweep $249 when some ads say $99?
A real sweep takes time and the right equipment. Very low prices are often there to get someone into your home to sell repairs. Our price covers the full job, you see photos of everything, and you only pay for repairs you approve.
Will you push repairs I do not need?
No. You get photos of what we find and a written price, and you decide. If your chimney is in good shape, we tell you.
Which inspection level do I need?
Level 1 for yearly upkeep. Level 2 when you buy or sell a home, after a chimney fire or storm, or when you add an insert. Not sure? Call us and we will tell you before we book.
What is a Level 3 inspection?
A Level 3 inspection opens part of a wall or the chimney to reach hidden areas. It is only needed when a Level 2 points to serious damage. We show you why on video, and you get a written quote before anything is opened. Call us for a quote.
How often should a chimney be cleaned?
The national standard, NFPA 211, calls for an inspection once a year. We clean when buildup calls for it.
Do you work on wood-framed chimneys?
Yes. Many DFW homes have framed chimney chases, and chase repair is a big part of our work.
Do you service gas fireplaces?
Yes. A gas fireplace safety check and cleaning is $149.
